Mobility Engineering owns and operates a Registered Training Organisation, Australian Safety and Engineering Training as a subsidiary. Our training organisation (RTO) is registered by the national vocational education regulator ASQA and we specialise in automotive safety training. We currently offer nationally accredited and recognised training in the following areas:
Child Restraints and Child Car Seats – Our training courses in these areas will teach you to be able to confidently set up and secure a child restraint into a vehicle. We have courses tailored for drivers, medical centre transport workers, community transport drivers, parents, carers and those wanting to become a professional child restraint fitter.
Transport of passengers with a disability – we have courses that can train drivers of disabled passengers on how to correctly and legally transport these passengers, ensuring they transport them with utmost respect to their needs and be able to correctly use features such as wheelchair lifters, wheelchair restraints and seatbelts to correctly and safely secure the wheelchair occupant and provide them with safe respectable transport whilst effectively managing your liability.
First Aid for Workshops – we have contextualised a nationally recognised first aid course to cater for workshop employees and workers. Having many years’ experience running our own workshop we see workers injuring themselves in a unique manner that requires immediate attention which may not be the same as a conventional first aid course.
Our trainers all hold the latest Certificate 4 (Training and Assessment) qualifications and can also help to facilitate and/or deliver a course that you have created. Contact us to discuss your training and facilitation needs and how we can assist in your delivery.
