The Compact seat is an economical seating alternative to the BEV or Recaro seats where the occupant does not need the feature rich designs.  It is a simple seat designed to blend in with the rest of the vehicle and has been designed to adapt with the Turny and Turnout swivel seats.

It has been safety tested for both wheelchair and vehicle use so if you are looking for a cheaper alternative for vehicle modifications while still offering a high level of comfort and safety then the compact seat is the best choice.

Ergonomic automotive seat

Recaro has long been the flagship brand for automotive seating and used widely across various racing vehicles worldwide.  The Recaro range offers both comfort and quality and many of them offer adaptability in their design to suit your specific needs.

With an increased level of comfort and various ergonomic designs, the Recaro seats are a perfect match for the Turny and Turnout swivel seats to provide easy and hassle free transfers in and out of the vehicle.  The Recaro seats can also be installed instead of the factory vehicle seats if you require specific supports for medical and comfort needs while travelling.

The Recaro range of seats consists of the following models:

Specialist series

The Specialist Series offers support for the body, primarily around the waist area with its low profile side bolsters.  There are three different seat cushions available so you can choose the seat that works best for your physical seating needs. The backrest is also adjustable from both sides of the seat and can be reclined flat with a forward tilting function for easier access into the rear of two door vehicles.

The Specialists seats have angle and height adjustable headrests with the option of air lumbar supports and armrests for further support.

Expert series

The Expert Series offers support for the body, primarily around the ribs with its adjustable upper side bolsters.  There are three different seat cushions available so you can choose the seat that works best for your physical seating needs. The backrest is also adjustable from both sides of the seat and can be reclined flat with a forward tilting function for easier access into the rear of two door vehicles.

The Expert seats have angle and height adjustable headrests with the option of air lumbar supports and armrests for further support.

Cross Speed series

The Cross Speed Series is a sportier looking seat offering support primarily between the shoulders and hips.  There are three different seat cushions available so you can choose the seat that works best for your physical seating needs. The backrest is also adjustable from both sides of the seat and can be reclined flat with a forward tilting function for easier access into the rear of two door vehicles.

The Cross Speed seats have angle and height adjustable headrests with the option of air lumbar supports and armrests for further support.

Ergomed series

The seat also features electric adjustment for height, tilt, backrest adjustment, dual lumbar and inflatable side bolsters on the backrest and cushion to provide complete flexibility and adjustment to suit the occupants comfort needs.

Both seat variations can have the option of an inbuilt universal side airbag (SAB).

The GS Seat is a highly adaptable seat designed for use with the vehicle swivel seat systems. On the GS Seat almost everything can be individually adjusted to suit the occupants specific seating support needs. There is also an array of accessories that will help to further adapt the seat if required.

This seating system has been designed with a growing child in mind so that the GS Seat can be adjusted on the move when required to provide the occupant with comfortable and safe seating at all times.

The GS Seat is also compatible with the Carony transfer wheelchair system, making wheelchair access for smaller vehicles a possibility even in complex seating situations

A seat with an integrated three-point seat belt.

The BIS Seat is part of a kit solution consisting of the Turny Evo and a vehicle-specific mounting bracket.

This kit is designed for second-row installations in vans. With an integrated seat belt, when you move the Turny Evo, forward or backward, the belt moves with you, always maintaining that perfect seat belt geometry. This is important because wearing a seat belt correctly is what saves your life. It’s why children use a booster seat until they are big enough to get the proper seat belt geometry by themselves.

Additionally, the seat belt is close enough to reach when you're seated. A seat belt attached the C pillar in a van, can be hard if not impossible to reach when seated. Especially if rotating your upper body is painful or difficult.  

As with all our seats, the BIS is crash-test approved to provide you with the best possible protection in the unfortunate event of a crash. Please note that the BIS Seat is currently only compatible with the Turny Evo.   

The BIS Seat is a fully functional and comfortable car seat, available for both left and right side installations. Naturally, it comes with functions like adjustable backrest recline. The backrest can also be folded forward over the seat cushion if necessary. The BIS Seat can also be adapted with armrests if desired.
